Middle of the Map Fest is only three years old, but has made tremendous strides in Kansas City. Yet even while they’re skyrocketing to success, they keep it very community oriented. You’ll still see your Lawrence or Kansas City neighbor sharing the same stage as Divine Fits or Grizzly Bear. There’s an awful lot of love and respect coming out of and going into that music festival, and audiences are reciprocating the feeling.

Welp, cat’s out of the bag. I Heart Local Music got a showcase at Middle of the Map Fest. It’s our first festival showcase, but certainly not the last.
